My name is Carrie Massier. I am 29 and live in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada. My husband is Lorne, 35, my eldest son is Tyler 10 years, no pre-eclampsia. My son Lucas is 7 months. He was delivered at 30 weeks due to pre-eclampsia/HELLP.

I had severe abdominal pain mistaken as gallbladder for 1 week, higher than regular bp and high weight gain brushed off by family doc. Admitted to hospital at 30 weeks with severe pre-eclampsia, bedrest and meds for 2 days, then emerg c/s for HELLP. Got worse following delivery. Off meds at 6 weeks postpartum.

My interests are Reading, finding any and all about pre-eclampsia/HELLP and my babies! I am an NICU nurse. Want to have another child but am really scared of another pe/HELLP preemie.
