My name is Erin I am 23 years old and live in St Louis Mo. My husband Chris and I have been together for almost 4 years and will be married a year in June 26. We met while at school at Washington University where I recieved a BA in Political Science.

During my entire pregnancy my BP had been elevated above my normal level and finally hit 140/90 at my 26th week appointment. Two weeks later I was on partial bedrest and three weeks after that I was on complete bedrest. My BP came under control for the next 4-5 weeks and then slowly began to rise again. I was induced at 37 weeks 5 days and little Alexander Thomas Schmidt was born April 28th at 7:10 am weighing in at 5 lbs 10 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.

While my BP is still elevated above my normal, the headaches and swelling has gone away and i am looking forward to wearing some of my wardrobe again.

We also have two wonderful puppies, Phoenix & Cali, who have done well with our newest member.

I am currently unemployed as I was uneligible for medical leave at my last position and lost my job when I had to go on bedrest. Currently our biggest hurdles are finding myself a job (or even better deciding what I want to do with my life AGAIN), and figuring out how not to leak all the time and spray little Alex in the face with breastmilk whenever he is done eating....
