My name is Lee-Ann McVey, I am 22 and live in Saltcoats, Scotland.

I am married to Jim and I have three step children. Jade 6, James and Patrick 4 (twins). I have adopted these three children and my two natural children are Kim 19 months and Lucy 5 months.

With my first baby I had a pretty normal pregnancy, bp got slightly elevated. During the labour of my first daughter, my blood pressure rose dramatically and I took seizures, and ended up ventilated for a few days. The second time around, my bp started rising at 28 weeks approx. I was taken to hospital where I stayed until 32 weeks when they decided to perform a c-section as blood results from my liver and platelet count were abnormal (whatever abnormal is).

My main interest is F1 racing. I love it with a passion. I am currently at college doing a pre-nursing course, I hope to go into midwifery.
