Great Tey
Believed to be of 15th/16th century construction,
this fine old house has a solid oak frame.
It is T- shaped with many fine timbers on view inside.
Roof is ridged and gabled peg-tile,
though obviously was once thatched.
The house has recently undergone extensive
and careful restoration.
