outline of the essential elements required to connect to the Internet and establish
a corporate presence;
- An Internet connection which can range from ADSL Broadband to a permanent leased line connection with dedicated bandwidth. The

- Registration of an Internet
Domain Name. This is the label by which a company is known and
addressed on the Internet both for e-mail and for a Web site. Aspects can

hierachies. We are happy to advise if a name is available.
Where Aspects register a Domain, we will typically provide the necessary Primary and Secondary DNS service by which your Domain

- A Web Server which sends
the pages of a Web site to Internet users on demand. This is usually
referred to as Hosting a Domain. Effectively this is provided by means of
disk space set aside and individually configured on aspects Servers.
- A Mail Server to send,
receive and store e-mail messages. Again, this is provided by aspects and
can be configured to accept Internet e-mail for from one to thousands of e-mail
addresses.
More advanced facilities
can be provided and tailored to a company's requirements. For example, the provision
of a mail server at the companies premises which will handle both internal and
Internet e-mail.
